Every year thousands of youth (14-25) are seduced by the Game’s promise of money, fame, sex, and power. This promise is promoted by movies, rap stars, and video games like Grand Theft Auto.

The problem is, this “promise” is a lie, and the “Game” is not a game! Unlike Grand Theft Auto, you can’t just turn it off when you start losing or you don’t want to play anymore.

Real choices and action have real consequences, and sometimes, when you make the wrong ones, they last forever….

In Lessons of the Game, author Mike Enemigo, who is serving life in prison without the possibility of parole for a murder he committed in 1998, when he was just 19, has reached out to real pimps, gang members, drug dealers and killers from all over America who are serving hard time, in an effort to provide stories, testimonials and other writings with the hopes of preventing a young player from going down the path of destruction, prison, and even death, before it’s too late….
