The Baton Rouge rapper took to Instagram Live over the weekend and defended Lucci’s character while denying his involvement in any sort of RICO. He even attempted to poke holes in the alleged witnesses’ statements against the rapper.

“I fuck with Lucci. This dude ain’t running no fucking RICO, n-gga,” he began. “And I’ma say that. He go home to his family every night, man. To his family, man. A dealer ain’t doing none of that… It’s a bad RICO, dog!

“Witnesses say they seen him push him out. How a witness see him get pushed out? How can a witness see from the outside if you get pushed out from the inside? Think about it. Reasonable doubt, I’m fighting it.”

Boosie continued: “The n-gga could’ve opened the door his damn self. Ain’t no what telling when you get shot!

Rest in peace to Lucci’s boy, man. But they got that n-gga messed up… What the fuck she saw if she outside? Sound like a paid witness to me.”

Boosie Badazz suggests YFN Lucci prosecutors used “paid witnesses” in RICO

YFN Lucci (real name Rayshawn Lamar Bennett) is currently behind bars after being hit with RICO charges while he was out on bond for his involvement in the alleged murder of a 28-year-old man.

Lucci was reportedly offered a plea deal last week which would have him serve 20 years in prison for all of his aforementioned alleged crimes, which he must serve at least 17 “inside.”

Through his attorneys Drew Findling and Gabe Banks, Lucci reportedly denied the plea deal and his legal team called the offer “absurd.”

“Despite the obstacles consistently placed in the way of Mr. Bennett’s constitutional right to a speedy and fair trial, we continue to be ready and prepared to defend these false allegations,” the attorneys said in a joint statement to TMZ.

Boosie Badazz isn’t just commenting from afar, he actually showed up to day one of the YNW Melly double-murder trial in Florida on Monday (June 12) to support the “Murder On My Mind” rapper.
