Gillie da Kid’s son, YNG Cheese, was killed Thursday (July 20) in a triple shooting in Philadelphia. The shooting took place on the 5900 block of Mascher Street in the Olney neighborhood at 8:24 pm. YNG Cheese, 25, was shot once in the back and was declared dead at the hospital at 8:39 pm. A 28-year-old man and a 31-year-old man were also shot and taken to the hospital, but both are in stable condition.
Gillie, along with his cousin Wallo 267, is the host of the very popular podcast Million Dollaz Worth of Game, and he advocates strongly for peace in the streets. It is horrible that his own son is now a victim of street violence.
Police have no suspects at this time.
