The double murder trial of rapper YNW Melly was declared a mistrial Saturday (July 22) because jurors failed to reach a unanimous verdict after two days of deliberation.
Technically, Melly, who was facing the death penalty, could be set free, but it is most likely that the State will refile, hoping a new jury will be able to come to a verdict.
